Taylor Noticed System
The Taylor Noticed System is several parallel events in each map checking for a few categories according to quests. Players get a message (a notice), a banner that reads "Taylor noticed your giving spirit!" if you deliver the first two rounds of packages in Debut town (carrying up to 13 at a time). There is a facet of the Taylor Noticed System for "turning enemies into allies" when you bump into NPCs at the library, in town or at the mall, and turn them into allies when you respond by giving them hearts, making a bonfire, or giving them friendship bracelets. If you earn badges, Taylor "notices" those when you approach her in the end, and some come with Tay Points, like the Cat Lady badge.
For ongoing tallies like deliveries and allies, I simply decided upon ranges per level, named the event the same thing, and gave it the number of the era: the TaylorNoticedAllies4 event shown in the image below is from the Red era. Early on, I had to comprise this part of the system as switches with tallies to keep the parallel events from repeating the reward when a player entered a new map on the same level, like making an ally at the mall and walking out into town, or making an ally out in town and walking into the library; every map with disgruntled NPCs to befriend has a parallel event that is part of the Taylor Noticed System.
